Now Offering Pet Sitting!

We specialize in small group and private walks.
We will never have more than four dogs per walk.
Group combos are very intentional and based on our discretion.
-
Group Walks
A valuable walk and play in your neighbourhood, designed to meet your pup’s daily needs. Combination of on-leash and off-leash when appropriate. Minimum two walks per week. Maximum four dogs. Group walks are offered for 60-minutes only.
-
Private Walks
A private walk, ideal for dogs who may experience reactivity, have limited mobility, or who thrive best in a solo environment. Private walks enable us to customize our time to best suit the needs of your dog. Private walks are offered for 30- or 60-minutes.
We love our 1-on-1 walks! -
Private+ Walks
Hoping to transition from Private to Group walks? Allow Loki and/or Suki to help! Private+ means the addition of our namesake pup, Loki, and/or her new sister Suki. Private+ walks occur at our discretion, and are not guaranteed.

We work with guardians who are interested in walking exclusively as a Low Key dog!
Contact us to schedule a Meet & Greet at the front of your home. A member of our team will meet to discuss in more detail what you’re looking for, and ensure a compatible fit for both dog(s) and walker(s).The next step includes setting up your Client Portal, reviewing our policies, and completing your profile in full. Completed Client and Pet profiles are required prior to service, as well as independent access to pup (keycodes are preferred).

We operate on a time block system: Morning (8am-10am), Midday (10am-2:30pm), and Afternoon (2:30pm-4:30pm).
A walker can arrive at any point during the set time block. Pick-up and drop-off times may vary due to traffic, bad weather, and regular dog shenanigans! Please rest assured that if your dog is booked for a walk, your dog will be picked up and walked! Our aim is to always have walks completed by the end of the set time block.
We will do our best to accommodate specific time requests, however we are unable to respond to pick-up inquiries during walking hours. -
Our service is best suited for Recurring services. These are automatically scheduled 2-4 weeks in advance, and will be visible in the booking calendar of your Client Portal. Frequency Discounts and priority scheduling apply for Recurring clients.
We also offer Book As Needed services. These requests are accommodated whenever possible, but cannot be guaranteed. Base Rates and prepayment apply.
Need an additional walk?
Service requests must be made by 12pm the day before, and are not guaranteed until confirmed!
Cancellations
We require 24 hours written notice of cancellation, or full charges apply. In the event of extreme weather or personal emergency, the cancellation policy may be waived. For Recurring walks, we request two weeks written notice to cancel or reduce days, or charges may apply. Book As Needed walks are non-refundable. -
It turns out that our team loves talking about your pup as much as you do! We are delighted to offer daily walk reports to keep you informed and up-to-date on your dog’s adventures. This report will include walk notes, photos and occasional video, status of pee/poop, and receipt of food and fresh water.
Services must occur in the same week, Sunday-Saturday.
Each service type is counted separately.
In the event of cancellations, the rate will automatically adjust based on the actual number of completed services.
All premiums still apply.

Each dog will be assessed and offered several leash-only walks before beginning the process of going off-leash, at our discretion. Along the way, we will prioritize building a relationship with each dog and getting to know their needs and personalities. We focus on positively reinforcing basic leash manners, recall and social behaviour. Due to inclement weather and other factors, off-leash is never guaranteed. This ensures a stress-free and enjoyable adventure for everyone!
-
We understand that traditional dog parks can be controversial. However as a neighbourhood-based company, we are dependent on the various parks and fields available to us each season. We strive to be socially-responsible and respectful of the public when out with our Low Key dogs.
Every member of our team will utilize the same techniques and verbiage when it comes to giving your furry friend off-leash time (when appropriate). Prior to unclipping the leash, we will scan the field/park for dangers, and ensure all gates are closed (if required). We will ensure constant supervision and call dogs back throughout their play to reinforce recall.
Our team is educated in reading canine body language and navigating healthy social interactions.
-
In order to best facilitate your desired service, our team may need to transport dogs in their vehicle a short distance. If deemed necessary, we will use our discretion in order to ensure the safety of all dogs. We will never transport more than 3 dogs at once. We will ensure all dogs in transport know and get along with each other - we will never transport a new dog right away.
Pups may be gently secured with a doggy seat belt or carabiner, if needed. Basic car manners will be enforced, such as loading/unloading on cue, sitting still while in motion, and respecting the space of the driver and others. All walkers have up-to-date insurance and a clean driver’s abstract.
Business Partner Feature
We have partnered with Dr. Elizabeth Riddett, who offers sports medicine and rehabilitative house call services, from Sooke to Sidney. Her goal is to get our pets feeling great, so they can continue to enjoy life to the fullest.
“We use a multi-modal approach to pain management, including manual therapies, rehabilitation exercises, new technologies, and pharmaceuticals. This is great for active dogs that have been sidelined due to injury, dogs recovering after surgery, highly active dogs that need to stay in peak physical shape, or those with congenital issues like hip or elbow dysplasia.”
